Is that 51 firm orders plus 36 options? What does that mean? Also, there must be some additional planes being added to the mainline fleet, like for every two 70 seaters one mainline bird? Right?

You're a tool. Over 6100 posts! Loser. Get a girl friend.

Thanks Dad. My wife wouldn't approve. And, you bring nothing to the table. Your insecurity shows. I hope your life improves someday.

Hey boy wonder, ASA has a rate for the 70 seat that is greater than the 50. But you being the "Moak" lover that you are already knew that.

Why does a mainline pilot spend soo much time on the regional board?

Why not? Can I not be interested in all parts of this industry? Are you the Regional Board Policeman? I used to fly for "A SMALLER AIRLINE THAN A MAJOR" (whew!) and I am still interested in that area. And yes, I knew about the pay rate difference. I hope you keep it.

We will not fly them for peanuts like Mesa, Skywest and Chiniqua. We demand a linear wage for the increased size which is going to keep us out of the 70 seat market. You won't see us getting any NWA 70 seat contracts because of this.

The Mesa and Chiniqua cancer will just spread further IMHO. I hope it can be stopped before this disease becomes terminal for the industry.

You're right. Too bad you guys got the Comair+10% you were promising, otherwise you could get more flying....

I'm insecure? Its like going to the CFI board and bashing those guys. Is your wife fat? She must be. I know I don't have time for 6100 posts and sex and a life...You are such a cool Delta guy.

You are at the CAP? Good for you. Yeah, don't ever go to the CFI board again, nah---you have moved on to the next step----the Civil Air Patrol. Awesome dude, it's a start. Maybe someday you will continue on to SE night cargo. It's a dream for you, isn't it? Cool. And, my wife is hot, and we have a lot of fun together. Thanks for caring.

She's Hot? Can't be too good looking if you spend this much time reading and posting on the world wide web!

How can me being on this baord often make her bad looking? That doesn't make sense. I think she is hot, and that is really all that matters. I am very happy.

Oh yea.

Well my wife can kick your wifes.....

Aw nuts, wrong thread. I thought this was professional pilots.

You see, General, that's where we are different. I don't list my "actual accomplishments" in my profile nest to my name, like you. (He flies a 767, 737; he must be cool!). The CAP is a joke. Quit posting and go bone your ugly wife before her and the dog use all the peanut butter.

Wow, that was wonderful. You probably don't have any accomplishments, or some bad ones that people could pick up on. Is that why you hide behind the CAP? I give my planes flown to give people an idea of my experience. You hide behind yours. It's ok to be a CFI or whatever you are, you have to start somewhere. And, your slams really mean nothing to me. If you want to continue looking dumb, then go ahead. You have no credibility here. And, my wife really is hot.

General, I used to think you had some good points every now and then. However that statement is sooooo far off base. An aircraft that one flies has nothing, I mean nothing to do with ones experience. You are awarded no points for that comment!

Someone can put anything they want down there and nobody would know the difference. I haven't changed anything in 4 years, and I have actually flown those planes. Someone flying a 757 probably has more experience than a CAP pilot like Screwed Again. Believe what you want, that is fine with me. I am here for debate on the airline industry. I am not here to gain points with you.

I use to like Gen Lee's posts. They seemed pretty constructive and had some thought to them. But they have recently become very negative. You are really starting to look very petty by coming on these threads and posting some of the garbage and engaging in some of these childish rants. You really need to fix your house (BIG D) before you come bashing ours. I hope you return to your previous arguements and insights. Right or wrong they were better than what you have become.

It doesn't matter what someone puts on there, your right! I could have put the space shuttle on there. However, you were the one that stated that you put the airplanes that you have flown to show your experience level. I say that comment is pure bs!! I have flown beside corporate pilots that have had more experience then anyone flying a 747, 767 etc.!! So your comment about type of aircraft flown has a direct link to ones experience shows your lack of real knowledge of the aviation world. Anyone that has tons of experience would never say what you said in a comment!

Again you are awarded no points!!!

SS,

What exactly can I do about my house? I am an ALPA member and pay my dues. I am not trying to be negative, but when I see something I think is wrong with any part of this industry, I will comment on it. I think we have plenty wrong on the DL side, and I have made my points clear. We are now waiting to negotiate with the company, and things could get better or worse. Not much I can do. I recently posted that I thought adding CR7s to Aguadilla and Ponce in Puerto Rico was a good thing, but you may have missed that one. Look, I try to give my opinion and I am open to debate. If anyone wants to engage in that, great. If not, then that is the way it goes.
I don't mean to be negative, but those childish rants are really what they are, and nobody should get too upset about them. I don't.

Believe what you want, that's fine. Most of the guys I fly with flew fighters etc, and some still can't land a 767 in a x-wind. Means nothing.

That's my point. I would rather have the higher pay and better work rules, than a bunch of Ho'd out flying like Chiniqua has.

And a lot of us are ALPA members and MOST of us are doing our best to fix the problem. We are just as aware of our problems and in the same position to fix it.

It just seems to me that you use to be more constructive and less abusive. Your comments have become more derogatory towards us. And I know you use to be a "less than a major airline" pilot. So you know most companies have come a long way in their contracts and work rules since you were in the industry.

I could say that Unfortunately the majors have seen the backward slide and are giving up work rules and scope. How can you blame us? You created us. Blame management. They are the ones pulling the strings and turning us against each other. Nothing will get fixed until we are all just pilots trying to keep a good standard of living and helping make all places better.

I will give you that there are real pieces of work on this board. Engaging them does not make you the better man.

We all have problems SS. 9-11 started this slide, and the regionals have loved ever second of it. Now pilots flying for regional airlines are allowing their pay also to fall, for the sake of growth (ie SkyWest). I do blame management, but I also blame pilot groups like SkyWest for accepting the gorwth route vs common sense pay scale---flying a larger plane should pay you more. They were the first to accept the alternative, and I call them on it often when they get cocky. It is my opinion and I can give it. I like how you twisted my words to read "less than a major pilot"---I was joking and not saying "commuter" pilot so I wouldn't offend anyone. Even you cannot see the joke. I respect all pilots, but I do not respect some of their choices, and I will call them on it. If you want to bash DL and our group, fine. Just remember we brought the wages up to the highest level EVER. We helped everyone else, and SW and Fedex used our rates to boost theirs. They are now the new benchmark.

As far as being "abusive", I don't think so. These rants on this posting have been childish no doubt, but I don't mind them. If people think I am abusive when I call it like I see it, then that is unfortunate. I am just trying to give my opinion on aviation topics, and you are free to give yours too.

I agree with you. And it was a well worded, non flame bait post.

Uhhhhhhhhhhh, what does this have to do with NWA scope again?

I don't wanna know about GL's wife, or somebody else's mom, etc.

Maybe you guys should go start a "kicking each other in the nuts" thread somewhere.

all of you at the majors just remember that NWA used to hire guys off the street with 300 hours, some even had a contract to be hired when they got a commercial pilots rating. So my point is, some of your wide body guys did not pay their dues, so why should us that are at the regionals have to pay our dues and get screwed all the time. All we want is to make a living, not take your jobs or anything like that..........get off yor high horse....
