I was in leaving AMS the other day and saw a NWA 747 land from KWI with all the window shades closed (it was daytime). I've seen many CRAF flights come and go, but never with all the shades closed. Seemed rather strange! Anyone know what the deal was?

Maybe the shades were closed when the plane left KWI, airlines do that to keep the plane cool, while parked on the ramp in KWI @ 42c temps.

Or maybe they had a plane full of ugly flight attendants. Window shades down -- thank god for small mercies.
