Does anyone know what the requirements are to become an NTSB Aviation Accident Investigator? Also what is the official procedure for applying?

If anyone can provide some information on this, I would really appreciate it. Thanks in advance...

Misti - if you look at the NTSB's web site, there are usually job postings for field investigators. The pilot minimums are usually pretty low - 500TT or so - you just have to be willing to live wherever the jobs are available.

Mitsipilot,

If you want to PM me, I can answer any questions you might have.
