If you look at the quick bio on this "aviation lecturer" who proposed this idea, he authored a book entitled "IFR Made Easy". Maybe his next book should be called "Part 135 Air Charter Made Even Easier"!

Those of us in the 135 business will never let this happen. We have spent too much time and money conforming to 135 standards to let "fly-by-night" wannabes cut into it. The public will demand and deserves better oversight. All insurance companies would be against it. The liability issue is too great. NBAA would be against it. Liability waivers would not be binding. Better start working on that CFI union to get more political clout. Don't get all upset. We have all been there - low time and no options. Its a tuff business and not everyone will make it nor should they. Everyone who has earned a pilot's license doesn't automatically deserve a career as a pilot.
