So Boeing's scandal delayed the program by 4 years, and this decision could extend that yet again by 4 years. Boeing is going to look real stupid if they delay the program for 8 years without bringing anything compelling to the table.

Agree'd. Boeing screws themselves first with scandal and greed, then delivers a lesser product during an objective competition... and has the gaul to cry foul. Meanwhile the end user and war fighter continues to get screwed. Sorry.. but F_CK YOU Boeing.

What are you guys smoking? Airbus over Boeing? First of all, you guys don't know a thing about tanker ops. The 767 is superior. The A330 can't even refuel every airframe in the inventory, now that's value. Plastic tail Airbus, no thanks. I'll take my 767. Alot more secure during a wake turbilence event. And Airbus is just rip with a vast array of tanker history. They can't even build a military turboprop! I fly tankers, let the ones who know decide.
