Theres a surprise...as I said before; Memphis, you're next.

Remember now, it's not because of the merger, it's because of the economy.
who will be the first LCC to establish themselves in large numbers in CVG?
All that jazz about "no bases will close" or "no furloughs of frontline employees" was nothing more than sugar-coated tales to sell the merger to the government and wall street. That's all that mattered. Now with everything approved, get ready for base(s) closure(s). And they'll use whatever reason that suits them.
Merger mania bit the industry first when oil exceeded 100/barrel. It topped $147, but then came crashing down. Frankly, now with stable oil, merger mania has died.
So we'll see how all this turns out. It's gonna be a wild ride, that's for sure.

CVG and N.kentucky have nothing to offer. If Dl leaves no LCC will make a big move on CVG. Everyone said the same would happen to PIT sure as hell hasn't happened yet
Proctor & Gamble will pay a premium to keep CVG flying to major US and international cities. Flights on thinner-routes will probably be discontinued.
