Northwest to add SFO-IND flights........

It was just announced earlier today, I guess. They say in addition to the new nonstop flights between Indy and Frisco, they will also beef up service to LAX and LGA. Although this announcement is somewhat ironic, it's not suprising to some people since just a few weeks ago, Air Tran announced new nonstops from Indy to LAX and SFO. With ATA out of the picture, do you think that AirTran will continue to go head to head with NWA in an effort to attempt to become the dominant carrier in Indy?

Just looking for an opinions and/or insight on this matter.

I guess with those figures, when Forklift Joe announced service the other day, I should have come on here and said: Great, another pissant LCC that serves less than 50 places looking to weasel into another market. A long time.... I think not. If I remember correctly NWA entered most of these markets (other than the hubs)in direct competition against ATA last year to try and slit our wrists.
