Northwest Reaches Wage Reduction Deal With Pilots

Northwest and its pilots have reached a tentative agreement that will save the airline $265 million per year. The carrier, which is looking to cut labor costs by $950 million a year, continues to meet with its mechanics union in an attempt to negotiate reductions in pay and benefits.
