I heard an interesting story yesterday about North Central and their inauguration of the DC-9-80. Apparently there was alot of media attention at the airport the day of the Super 80's first flight w/ North Central and there was a female pilot at the controls. From what I was told, she botched the take off by over rotating and smacking the tail on the ground followed by the nose coming down and hitting the ground and a wingtip digging into the ground. Can anyone verify this?
