I have vacation coming up in May and the wife and I were thinking about going down to Cancun for a few days. Just wondering what the loads would be like down to Cancun in a couple of weeks. In particular I was looking at Frontier from DEN and Continental from IAH. I noticed continental has like 4 flights a day from IAH. Most of the kids would be done with spring break by then so I think it may be a little easier to get down there. Also, would I be allowed to ride as a jumpseater with a seat in the back or is that not allowed because that is considered international? If someone from Frontier and Continental can let me know I'd appreciate it. thanks!

If DEN-CUN is what you want, try MG(Champion Air). They have a few flights a week out of the Fronter gates as MLT Vacations. I belive international tax applies(about $50). Ask for the SM at MLT counter.

Good Luck.

CUN from DEN

Allegiant Air flies DEN - CUN for Apple vacations. Pay the taxes and come check us out. 0800 departure.

F9 flies DEN CUN as well.

I suggest buy and id90 of F9 and try the jumpseat on the others, but you need to check out the taxes, immigration, and airport fee (Mexico).

Good luck,

Jeff

PS: I fly it Monday and Tues. of next month if I can help.

Just flew it today........

Full going down, full coming back......F9 sells every seat. Good luck

Thanks for all the info guys. Greatly appreciate it. if i were travelling by myself i'd have no problem with trying to jumpseat as i can be a little more flexible. but since the wife is going with sounds like nonreving wont be a good option. actually found some pretty good deals for airfare + all inclusive resort packages on expedia that we are looking at. eliminates all the stress of getting stranded somewhere. plus the wife wont get mad at me when i leave her behind:D thanks again!
