Hi everyone!

Just wanted to let people know about this website I found that lists all these different companies that let non-Part121 pilots jumpseat.

Almost any Part 91 or 135 pilot can jumpseat!!

www.jumpseater.net
CHECK IT OUT!!!

Also, if anyone knows of any part 135 companies that allow jumpseating let me know.

Good luck!

what a joke dude you go to the link and they want money must be related to Kit

How do you know it is a good service? Are you a part of the set up? What is the current database? Give us more info, please. The idea is nice, but in reality, corporate and on-demand operators would find it hard to participate due to the unscheduled and changing nature of their operations. And those companies aren't going to assume any liability of ride-alongs that don't have an association with that company. One note, say a 135 on-demand operator wanted to participate. How are the schedules posted? On 135 dead-head legs (Part 91 repositioning), once another passenger is carried, does that operator now have to designate that leg as 135 with the associated segment fees? Very unlikely its going to be a free ride. Jumpseat priveledges are based on reciprocal agreements. How is does this third party web site intend to facilitate agreements between their registered users and the operators?

You're kidding, right? Good service??

Part 135 jumpseating is nixed for the most part at most airlines with a few exceptions after 9/11. PER FAA SECURITY DIRECTIVES with captain not having any authority to override.

Flight School jumpseating I've never even heard of, and not only that, but it is illegal per FAR's as it's Part 91. REFER TO FAR 121.547

Corporate jumpseating is ALSO illegal since corporate operators fall under Part 91. Refer to FAR 121.547
If you are talking fractionals, it's still questionable... even if they have an on-demand 135 certificate.

Most airlines right now require reciprocal agreement in place before they'll grant a jumpseat to a Part 121 pilot, let alone anyone else. Not to mention the fact that most captains, myself included, will scrutinize you when you are asking for a jumpseat. Scam like the one you are offering is what caused the offline cockpit jumpseat to be taken away. Now the pilot unions at all airlines are fighting tooth and nail with the feds to restore it all while thousands of commuting pilots are being left behind when a plane is full and the jumpseats are wide open.

So.... the question is, what are you offering except scamming poor and unsuspecting souls into believing that they can get a free ride? Unless what you are offering is an advice on how to illegally attempt to scam a jumpseat ride, which by the way is a federal offense, and not worth jeopardizing one's career.

Just curious.....

I work with NetJets and we have jumpseat arrangements with a couple of airlines.. We are 135, have always been.. Pilots take training and a check ride every 6 months to include a line/route check (299) every year.. If you want to jumpseat on our aircraft just talk to the captain.. I'll see your ID etc. and have the company dispatchers put you on the manifest...

Our UNION has a jumpseat committe just ask..

If you fly with us it will be on an empty flight so sit back put a movie or CD on and relax... Get up walk around check out the bird.. The only problem? We may be diverted in flight to God knows where then you are on your own.. Just remember we may be at you local airport going your way...

I work for Airnet and our jumpseats are always open to 121 pilots. You just have to call our dispatch and put yourself on the riders list. We go late so if you have been bumped all day give us a try we may be able to get you home. Call 800-999-1201 and tell them the details and they will see if we can help. We thank those who allow us to ride on them.

We have a specific reciprocal jump seat list at our airline
and it spells out who you can jumpseat with(121 & cargo).

Spending any money on a jump seat list doesn't make any sense.
