I agree with PCL_128. NWA knew exactly what they wanted long before the RFP went out. As for DTWFO, you're just pissed because it looks like you missed the boat on the fast upgrade, now it looks like you'll have to sit in the right seat and actually learn for a little longer. For your info. most of the guys at XJ are very down-to-earth, infact if it weren't for the crappy mngt here, it would be a great place to start and learn!!
You guys need to actually start getting some work rules over there and quit being abused, or when you grow up and get some real responsibilities in life, you'll realize that the mortgage company does not care how cool you look in your uniform...........can you pay your bills?????

Ditto that. We're losing 20-30 people a month to attrition, most to Netjets although that will probably slow some with all the Indy guys and gals who recently interviewed there - will probably bottlekneck the hiring and training process for a while.

Some people doing normal career advancement to AirTran, jetBlue (almost no one to Southwest), and one here and there to FedEx. Some F/O's making lateral moves to other regionals.

The QOL at the bottom (or anywhere on the seniority list) isn't improving and upward mobility is a long road here these days, plus the threat of losing a lot of our flying... no wonder people are bailing.
