LAKEWOOD, Wash. - A 9-year-old boy ran away from home and sneaked onto two flights before he was caught by police after missing his connection for a third flight, officials said Wednesday.Semaj Booker apparently found a Southwest Airlines boarding card and made it through airport security twice Tuesday. He flew from Seattle to Phoenix, where he transferred onto a flight to San Antonio, Texas. He was taken into custody at San Antonio airport — short of his Dallas destination, police said.
The fourth-grader remained in juvenile custody in San Antonio on Wednesday. He had been trying to get to his grandfather in Dallas, where he used to live.

Security would have never let this happen IF....
......he was a Medal of honor winning POW and WWII vet and recently elected congressman, he would have been tackled, humilated publicly, caused mutliple flight cancellations while the ENTIRE airport was rescreened, impeached from office, and forced to pay large fines to the impound yard while his car was towed fingerprinted and a 2nd news cast starts a spin story about a missing intern on Capital Hill that was last seen??????......all because he was already on the no flylist for being elected into public office......

I read the article. If you can get beyond the fact that the kid is a psycho kleptomaniac, you must admit he's a resourceful little bugger.

Apparently, he's got a history of stealing cars, and was recently involved in a 90 MPH high-speed police chase.

That a 9 yr old was able to do this demonstrates the level supreme stupidity which exists from gate agents down to the TSA. I wept for Elia Gonzales in the 90s', and now Samaj! Little lonely Samaj freely moving about the country! His parents, so illiterate they could only name him 'pajamas' backward for short. The little dickens is now getting all sorts of attention and publicity for a list of felonies, probably joking with his friends about how easily he scammed everyone. My guess is Samaj doesn't reach 13yrs old before graduating to a crime which puts him away for a life.......Oh, I forget about our strict penal system.....18th birthday then.


General....shake it off, rub some dirt on it.

It's not easy finding a Delta pilot with a sense of humor...trying to get a Delta pilot to smile and not be negative is quite an accomplishment these days. :cartman:

Or maybe someone in Langley Virginia could figure out something to do with little samaj, I mean a kid this resourceful? shouldn't let him go to waste now should we?

If you have seen the kid on t.v. you can tell he would have felt a lot more in touch with the trailer trash on SWA!

The dumb a$s gate agent at check in gave him a ticket. He told her he was under 12 and his mom was already thru security so she looked in the computer and saw only one person under 12 she said are you Franklin he said yes and he was on his way!!

TSA does suck though.
 
How did he get past the sign that said, "You must be this tall to take this ride."
