I consider it a Cadillac plan when I pay a mere $30 copy whether to my Primarynor a Specialist . When compared to others who pay $45 when on Medicare!

If you don't like your job , Leave it .

I consider it a Cadillac plan when I pay a mere $30 copy...

Whether you consider it a Cadillac plan is wholly irrelevant. That term has a specific meaning for tax purposes. It has absolutely nothing to do with copays, benefits, or coverages. It's defined as a plan with annual premiums of more than $10,200 for an individual, or $27,500 for a family.

Your assertion that Netjets "pays a penalty for OUR Cadillac plan" is incorrect. Nobody pays it yet, because that provision doesn't start until 2018. And when 2018 hits, it still won't be a Cadillac plan, and the company will pay no penalty for having it.

I do like my job. That doesn't mean I'll stop trying to make it better.

Let me counter some of your talking points.
1-Free benefits
We still pay deductibles and co-pays so it's not free. We also have negotiated lower pay to not have to pay an employee contribution for insurance premiums.

2-live wherever we want, no commute
- yes they buy airline tickets for us and we travel to the aircraft on company time. On day one that doesn't bother me, on day last there are times I would love to catch the early flight home but due to the companies desire to save a buck I get home late.

3- hotel, airline, amex points
A good benefit but not nearly as good of a program as it was 10 years ago.

4- free crew meals (an airline guy will spend $200- $300 bucks on a 4 day trip)
Crew food is a benefit for the company not the pilot. It keeps me tied to the jet at the airport. If I had my choice I would rather have time inbetween flights to get something more fresh and use my per diem.

5- 4 weeks vacation
After 10 years you get your 4th week, almost 11 years if you were hired after the annual cutoff date. Years 1-4 is 2 weeks, 5-9 is 3 weeks.

there are worst jobs outhere

There are worse jobs out there, there are also better. You can't fault a group for trying to make a job better in their eyes.

So someone In year eight now, after another 8 yrs.... Will possibly make $126,511 ( year 15 for them)
And a newhire will be at $99908 in year eight....

Hell the airline FO's make the money you posted in the first column by year 2-3 as a new hire.....
