How's life in the EP? Thinking of bidding out of the mighty beechjet for the EP (upgrade coming and I think it'll be the EP---want a few hrs in it beforehand). No more upgrades in 2008 for the mighty beechjet. Too bad, I like the program and our ACPs are great.

Seems a little risky unless you are willing to take all other a/c off your bid and wait for the E+. If you bid over as a sic and then get a different a/c for upgrade you have just gotten yourself a massive seatlock (6 years or so). I don't know about the E+ but life in the regular Encore was good and many of those people went to the + so I assume it would be the same there.

The 400 is a pig.

No more aircraft deliveries (or few) means no more upgrades in fleet.

With 3 billion in AC deliveries coming here plus nearly 2 Billion going to NJI it's safe to say there's going to be some "movement".

Movement will be most pronounced (me thinks) with the EP, 680, XLS and 800XPC this year.

Large cabin deliveries equal "trickle down economics" for most of us though.

The 4000 will start to cause a draw with 7 coming this year (Napoleon Dynamite-- FINALLY!!! GhhhOOOOOOd!!!). Look for the senior monkeys that wanna sit at home to big that rig while flight ops, training, OS and MTX fight over the first few frames.

Place your bid. Upgrade is fun. Don't think about it too hard dude. Really.

Just say, "SOOPER SIZE ME!!!"

I'm holding out till early 2009 to see what my seniority will buy personally. Something nice maybe... something straight wing for sure but something nice.

I think you're right about the movement, but I don't want the 680 or XL, and as for the 800....dream on with my number. Anyways the equipment lock isn't a big deal to me. I don't care for any more types, to me its all about the smaller airports and such. I don't want those 5 hour legs. I'll just hang out in the small birds.

About 20 or so. CRC was the source. EP and (egads) the XL going junior.

Ah, yeah the EP makes sense then. For those looking at another 1-2 yrs, the 400 is an okay bet. There will be movement out of that thing as slots trickle. I wouldn't be surprised to see a couple more upgrades in it as capts bid "up."

What have you liked and disliked about the Beechjet fleet? I talked to a Beechjet FO a year ago or so and he liked the less-busy schedule.
It's a great program.. Great Captains, great ACP, etc. Just won't be any upgrades in it for a while but I should be able to get the EP in a few months at this rate.

a few months?.....ok well maybe try oct or nov for upgrade at the earliest....

not being a jerk just tryin to throw some reality....senior guys will be coming in and more so as the fleet hits 11 planes.
