NJA App Timeframe

I submitted an app 31Dec07 via snail mail and have not heard anything (no confirmation received, etc.) Is that normal or should I resubmit.

Thats normal. I would expect an app accepted email the middle of this month. I think Derinda only does them once a month. Got mine Jan 18 and submitted my app Dec 18. Hope that helps and I wouldn't worry yet. Its gonna be a long wait from what I hear for interviews?

That's interesting. I snail mailed mine on 12/21 and havn't had the app received email yet.

are they still looking at hiring 400 this year? if so, i would think interviews should be constant, or am i off?

I was in indoc in January and they said they were looking to hire 450 this year. Additional 50 A/C to fleet. New hire intials been steady.

Mailed app in on 12/15, received confirmation 1/15, interview invite on 1/26, and interview this monday 2/11.

Anyone else that downloaded the application online get the 6 page version about 2 months ago? It is now a 12 page app. that includes some more flight time breakdowns and a bunch of release forms for credit reports and background checks. Just wondering.

I filled out the other pages and just sent them in. Derinda never wrote me and told me anything though?

Initial Customer Service Screening??

I updated my app info in late December, and just got a voice message this week from crew recruiting concerning an Initial Customer Service Screening which would take about a half hour to complete on the phone. I was wondering if anyone else got this call, and what it's all about. Thank you.

mail app in late dec, accepted Jan 5th, offered interview Feb 10th, Interview in early Mar. I was told by many friends that work for NetJets, that if you get the accepted app email, you will get an interview. They don't accept all apps, only the ones they are going to interview.

Online app versus email

Has anyone had any communication from NJ since sending in just the online application? I know the old way was to email them then you get a application packet but the website says to download and mail the application, did that about 5-6 weeks ago. Plus should I wait to verify they received my initial application before talking to my internal connects?

I'd have your connections send in their recommendations now with a note to HR to attach them to your app.
