Sorry guys, I've looked and looked. What is an example of the 18 day schedule again? Is it 6/4, 7/3 etc? Is there a max/min number of days off? Thanks.

The 18-day can be anything, subject to a few limitations:

Tours a maximum of 7 days long, except one 8-day tour during each four-month bid period. Minimum 3 days off after any tour; 4 days of after a 7-day tour; 5 days off after an 8-day tour.

That's it. You can submit preferences (such as requested days off or preferred tour lengths [long or short]), but they're not guaranteed. Other than that, it's built up however scheduling needs to meet forecast demand.

My current month, for example, is 4-on (finishing a 7 day tour that began last month), 4 off, 7 on, 5 off, 7 on, 5 off (including first two days of next month).

It's all over the map really. Depends if you have training or not that month. I only have one 7 day tour in MAY the rest training. April was 5 on 3 off 6 on 4 off 6 on 5 off. Some guys I fly with have 4 on 3 off all month. Off being Fri Sat Sun sign me up for that in the fall.

what fleet are you on? or, what fleet are you buds on that have been doing the 4 on 3 off? thanks-

I'm doing 4 on 3 off in the XL for May. Every weekend off. Most guys want more time off between tours but I prefer the 4 day tours.

April: 3 off 7 on, 4 off 4 on, 3 off 6 on, 3 off. (17 days of work)
May: 8 on 5 off, 5 on 3 off, 5 on 5 off (18 days) that being said in may the one and only day that I bid for off fell right in the middle of my 8 day on.

oh yeah I'm on the Ultra
