Very insightful. Obviously the plane was fixed. To be specific, the fuel pump had failed, was replaced, run-up, and then signed off. So they were good to go.

Thanks. Things make more sense when all the facts are told. It seems the media wouldn't have such a sensational story by telling that part of the story.
