See you guys go with the all time favorites.

Chiefs are going to sneak up take the glory. Holmes is strong and looking to run. They say Green is looking good. Gonzalez hurt his knee but should be good to go.

Just wait and see.

Bobby,

Do you think Jake the Snake will make the Broncos a better team this yr. I see Plummer as an average NFL QB. But then again I dont coach football for a living although I would like to at the NFL level.

THe Lions will win there usual 5 or 6 games. You can aslways count on the Lions giving the Bungels a run for the worst team in the league.

Im thinkiong about doing Fantasy football online this year. Anyone ever played Fatnasy football before? Is it fun? Very time consuming? Etc?

Fantasy Football is a blast. I've actually gotten into it enough to be in two leagues this year. If you have a bunch of friends that are into NFL football than its really easy to set up a league on Yahoo (I prefer it to ESPN). One warning though...you will find yourself needing to find a sports bar that has ALL the games on at once on Sundays. There's one where I live that has 12 8x8ft screens with every game on. Its very addicting.

B-J-J Fighter,
What's your prediction for UGA this year? Do your best to beat up on Clemson Saturday...my team (Furman) has to play them the next week. BTW my neighbor went to both UGA and Georgia State as well. When did you graduate?

Cheers,
Markus

I graduated GSU Spring 2001. I did the aviation program at GSU which IMO is a big mistake. I had nothing to fall back on when the economy went south.

I think Saturday will be a tough game for the Dawgs up in Death Valley. I also think this game is a very important one (there all important) because it could very well define how season goes for UGA.

My buddy graduated in '96 so I doubt you'd know him.

Do your best to kick the crap out of their starting defense. We've (Furman) lost 27 in a row to Clemson  and it would be nice to give them a close game. It's always embarrasing to not beat the spread against a I-AA team...even a pretty good one ( we're ranked 8th).

Cheers,
Markus

I read all the posts so I can safely say every one here is in fantasy football land. None of you have acknowledge the fact that as long as there are bucs every one else is an also ran! Oh, Ditka may be a minor diety, but Chuckie is The Big Kahuna!:D

Hi! to Bobby & other Broncos fans:

My wife is friends with Darius Holland-we just found out he made the 53-man roster with the Broncos!

He was drafted by the Packers, then Chiefs, Lions, Browns, & last year with the Vikings.

He had a lot of potential, but was just picking up a paycheck.

He is more serious now, and is trying really hard. I hope he helps out the Broncos a lot (unless they play the Vikings!!!).

He was smart, and doesn't need any money anymore, so his 8th year veteran pay is all spending and/or retirement money.

I'm really excited about the Vikes/Packers this Sun! I hope it's a great game and the Vikings win. I hope I get to see it (I'm on the schedule to fly, and have no idea if I'll be flying or in a hotel room/crashpad then to see the game.)

I hope ya'll have fun this football season!!!

Darius looked really good this preseason. I would have been surprised if he hadn't made the team. Hopefully, his efforts will help improve a mediocre pass defense. He also looked good against the run.

Looking at the Broncos schedule I don't see how they can possibly lose a game this year. Of course I say that every year but this year I really think they might go undefeated.

And the Canes are going down this weekend.

Orange and blue baby!!!!!!!!!!

I wish I could share your optimism. But I go back to the early days of Frank Tripucka at quarterback, Bears Stadium, and the Chiefs beating the Broncos 56-7 at least once or twice a year. Memories of Hank Stram ordering the onside kick in the 1966 56-10 loss at Bears Stadium still sick in my craw. In fact, sometimes I enjoy it more when they beat the Chiefs than when they beat the Raiders.

The Broncos could beat Oakland twice. They also could lose to Oakland twice. The pass defense is untested - and you recall how Rich Gannon had a field day against last year's pass "defense." The last two games of the year, at Indianapolis and Green Bay, won't be easy (the "frozen tundra" four days before New Years' - gulp). On the other hand, "Chucky" figured out how to beat Oakland's offense to win the Super Bowl and the quarterback position has been upgraded.

No undefeated season. Barring injuries and the usual caveats, I stand by 11-5. If at least one of the wins is against Oakland, the Broncos win the division.

But it won't be easy when they cut someone like Lawyer Milloy, one of the league's top safetys. I wouldn't mind having him here in Denver, though Mike Shanahan said he's not interested.

The Bears have no chance this year. The mighty Vikings have a rehabilitated criminal on the roster posing as a "super star"

That would be none otther than the gangster, Randy Moss.

Here is a link as to how our over paid, over hyped, super star has reformed, Yeah, Right!

Go AZ Cardinals!

Just a mere $1000 this year would make me a bajizzillionare if the Cardinals were to take it all.

Yes...I'm really a die-hard [never] Cardinals fan. There are a few of us you know.
