Per document 304 in the docket for MAG's bankruptcy hearing they and Delta have agreed to let the ERJ termination suit stay in the Atlanta court. This is interesting since MAG wanted this to be brought before the bankruptcy court as part of its restructuring and Delta wanted to keep it out since it could have forced them to honor the contract.

With this move MAG can not bring the suit into bankruptcy and possibly not be able to include it as part of the restructuring. Delta gets what the wanted out of this, now the question is what MAG is getting in return?

Mesa Tanking in Hawaii

Hawaii interisland carrier go! Mokulele said Wednesday that its load factor in January dropped 3.3 percentage points to 61.2 percent, compared with the previous January.
The carrier, owned by Phoenix-based Mesa Air Group, also saw its revenue passenger miles drop 19.7 percent to 6.89 million, its available seat miles decline 15.3 percent to 11.2 million, and the number of passengers carried drop 13.5 percent to 50,325.

70 Million cash, pass the ERJ to the Brazilians, out of bk and more 900's for USAIR....

Sorry all the haters, Mesa will never die. Look for more flying from Delta and US Air.
Maybe usair, they have nothing to lose, only a couple of years left for that place. But I would say DL won't look to them anytime soon

How can you be so sure, the Majors bow down to money even if it's not in house. traditionally bk brings out healthier airlines.

Well, Mesa is hardly a "healthly" ailment. The conditions, Plague, Black Death, Ringworm, Scurvy, Polio, Smallpox, Cholera, Ebola, Malaria, Bubonic Plague, hepatitis, aids, cushings, diverticulitus, and the ********************s all seem better than suffering from Mesa.

Fly 290 degrees, climb and maintain the highest you can, cleared direct outer Mongolia and don't come back.

Yeah,
We all know how that worked out for Eastern, Braniff, PanAm, and TWA, but I wouldn't expect you to know anything, much less about history, given who you work for.
