Well, technically 1230. They can give you late call with one hour notice. . .
.

Negative. They CAN NOT call you after 1200, even for a late call.

But that's not the point. See ya there, unless they decide to make a bunch of X pairings to get as many guys out of town as possible. Although, the way 11 FO open time emptied out in the last 8 hours, there probably won't be anything to do.

ONE MORE DAY OF RETRO PAY

P.S. to the UPS guys: Sorry about hijacking your thread.

They can call whenever they wish, but I am only obligated to "answer the phone" during the notification period, which, in the case of "A" Reserve, ends at noon. You'd be foolish to answer at "Noon-oh-one."

(In fact, you're never obligated to answer the phone. You're only obligated to return a call or answer a page. It pays to take a moment to wake up, pull up VIPS, grab a pen and paper, listen to the new voice mail, collect your contract, get a cup of coffee, clear your throat, etc., before you return a phone call.)

Well, I'll be danged. . . I have FINALLY learned something of substance here on JerrySpringerInfo.com. . . .
.
.
.
A pilot's notification window shall end:
(a) 1:30 hours prior to the end of his RP if he is an R-1.5.

I was under the impression that they could use their "1 hour option" after 12
.
.
.
Now my question is: Can I use my "14 minute" grace period to blow off a phone call at 11:46??

They can call at 12:00, and you still have 15 minutes to return the call.
