Gee idiot. We are ALL ALPA people. I doubt that a P2P told you that, because we discussed just that during our last conference call, and all agreed that they probably would transfer aircraft, and would probably furlough. This is all part of the management playbook, too bad you're too dense to see that.
even the P2P's are starting to see the light about ALPA. Or should I say, the dark side of ALPA.

The last two I talked to didn't seem to know what was going on. Have you talked to some that are starting to question ALPA? If so, that should really set off warning signs.

So what, the hell with all the junior CA and FO's. I know it's not you so you don't care. Then piss on all the senior 70 CA's and IP's, that doesn't make it right. This place is no different then any other airline.

Man you're dense. The reason that the captains payrates in teh last contract were not MORE than they are is because we wanted to keep the FO's (they are junior) at 60% of captain pay. The reason that the 70 seat pay wasn't more than it is now is because we wanted to keep the FO pay at 60%. Yeah, we are happy throwing the junior guys under the bus.

The company is getting exactly what it wants. Guys like you that believe everything that they say and run around thinking the world is ending. This happened during the last negotiations, you just weren't here to see it. But go ahead and believe that the sky is falling. Believe everything that the company says. After all, they are SOOOOOOO truthful.

No, what sets off warning signs is that we have pilots dumb enough to believe everything that the company says.

I have flown with 2 in the past 3 weeks and both are pissed with ALPA and are not getting ANY info, even during the confrence calls and e-mails. Also look at some of the posts on here from P2P's about ALPA (go-around and that idiot av8or0u812 (or whatever his name is), etc.)

The calls are nothing but union rhetoric and bitch sessions. NO real info. ALPA sets the line and as the company approaches the line, they suddenly move the line again. But its all managements fault....sure.

ALPA wants us to think Skywest is "bluffing" about this stuff....I guess even the almost hard core union goons are starting to see they're not "bluffing". the really hard core goons will never see the light. Good thing they're in the minority. The really sad thing about all this is the MEC/CNC may not allow us the opportunity to judge the companies offer for ourselves. My company and as such, my life (at this point) has been hijacked by thugs.

Not any "dumber" than believing everything or anything the union says.

the truth ALWAYS lies somewhere in the middle.....ALWAYS.

Believe me, we are glad you left too.

I heard that SuperPooper is liking the ramp at CAL. He has checked out on the tugs and is emptying the Honey Buckets as his new position. So I guess we can say he is stirring the sh** at CAL.

I'm not leaving until you and OhPlease are both out of a job. It doesn't look like it will be long now.
ASA would have to virtually shut down to get me out of a job...hell, it will take a HUGE furlough just to get me pushed back to the right seat. But, you keep on wishin'.

I don't believe everything that anyone says. Do you believe everything ALPA says? It would be dumb to believe everything ALPA says.

I am interested to know who the "goons and thugs" to whom you refer so often?

I am interested in your opinion as to who exactly it is that you believe is driving this bus off a cliff.

If you are so convinced that the world is at an end, have you talked to your reps. There are only 4 votes that count. It would not take but an hour of your time to talk to each of them personally. Have you done so? If not, why?

If you think your MEC is out of touch with the membership at large, why is there no drive to recall. If you are so convinced that you are right and everyone else is wrong and your pilot group has been hijacked by "thugs" out to destroy their own company and livelyhood, why haven't you stepped up to the plate to lead the charge and do a better job?

That is rhetorrical. It is because you are a pu$$y who does not have the courage or fortitude to step and do your best to lead. It is easier to hide behind an anonymous keyboard and take potshots and those YOU elected to lead this pilot group the the worst time our industry has been able to dish up EVER.

Now get of FI. Call your reps and make your opinions known like a grown man. Your childish ranting grows tiresome.

Feel free to PM me and we can out ourselves and discuss this further.

Till then you are just another whining FI coward.

As long as I still have a job. A great union contract isn't any good if your flying gets transferred. You mainline guys don't understand that yet do you?

YGTBSM! Thanks for the good laugh.

I'll say it again so far mgt has the upperhand in what they have said is going to happen and what actually happens versus what the union has said and what has happened. Those are the facts.

And why is that letter dated the 10th (Sunday)? I am pretty sure all mgmt gets weekends off regardless of their "seniority"!!

Yep, just proves asadrivel is a totally ignorant POS or a management POS! Either way, he's a POS, along with crashpad and ohPleasedon'tend my job!

Hey D*ckHead or Biiiiatch,

Whatever you are. When did the CNC/MEC move the line like you say? The company took half a step towards the line and 5 steps to the left and right so idiots like you think they approached the line. They're gonna give us what we already have in our current contract. With a catch to everything. YIPPEEEE!!!!!!!! If that's approaching the line you need to step back from the crack pipe.

Don't misquote me in what you think I know or heard. If you had talked to me then I would have told you that this is exactly what was discussed. They are mad cause we didn't jump right up and cave in to the crappy offer they proposed. This is just the start of the company getting nasty and trying to scare Pussie cats like you. You guys act like this is something new, it's a displacement bid that has been coming for a year now with the ATR's going. The SLC displacements have been coming since they announced them too. I don't know what is new here? What has changed? The ATR's going away isn't due to the contract, they have been slated to go away when their leases are up for a while now. The 70's in SLC are not going to SKW cause of the contract either. The attrition rate is more than covering the displacements to the point they are going to hire. I was displaced off the 120 back to the right seat when they got rid of those. This is not the first time for this kind of thing.

ASA is in the toilette cause of a managment team that sucks at running an airline. Not for anything that the pilots have or have not done.

GA, I'll agree with some of what you have stated but if you believe that the 12 SLC CR7 transfer to SKW was not motivated by the negotiations then you really are drinking the ALPA kool-aid.

It was motivated by the fact that JA can fly the 70 for a 50 rate.

My question is where is are the planes that will cover the ATR flights in 2007 when they are gone?

Do we have a new turboprop on the way? Maybe the new ATR that is in production?

CURRENT FLEET PLAN is the key phrase in the BS memo.

To me it is just good business sense to not have two bases there. Ask just about anyone if they thought SLC would stay as a base for us when SKW bought us and they will say no. Just remember how the company was so vague when asked about it early on. They knew it would change from the get go and have used it to their benifit to whipsaw us.

I am usually drinking out of both hands, one ALPA flavor and the other company flavor. Then I make my own decisions.

Just as I fail to see a SkyWest base in ATL. It simply does not make sense to spend money that has already been spent once. If this make me a company Kool Aid drinker, so be it, but I do have a basic grasp on on whats smart money and what isn't.

Yeah, I always thought he was a management lackey, but now I know he's also an ignorant POS.

Good luck to you ASA guys, it's a tough environment you're dealing with, but you'll come through it better in the end if you stick together.

Yea might be BS but when I get displaced back to an FO this week then my support for ALPA will be over.

Is ALPA displacing you, or the company? Is ALPA transferring aircraft to another certificate or the company? How will withdrawing your support from ALPA make things better?

Whether you know it or not, you are ALPA. You elected your ALPA leadership and your leadership is only as strong as the membership makes it. You can throw up your arms and surrender or you can get involved and try and make a difference. Call your reps, give them your support and ask them how you can help.

My reps are asking for sh_t I don't want, ie retirement, excessive pay for 70 seaters, no dual qual, Ip's living the good life and premium. I have told the wilson polling center when they call what I feel and have told P2P guys what I want as well. I have done alot and still respect ALPA, they have helped me out before, but I think that it's time to come together. To me it's not worth it to just say they're full of it, so far they have done what they have said. I respect every one's opinion but mine is not like yours.
Let it rip......

Yea, but you can bet you'll see Skywest at C concourse very soon.

Actually, the polling isn't about just you. It's about what THE MAJORITY want. Sorry, this ain't just for you, it's for everyone, even ASADrivel & ohPussie, but the majority rules. That's how it's done in America. Have you ever talked with the CNC members when they're in the crew lounge? Try it some time.

Take it for what its worth, but Scott Hall said Skywest 90s will be in ATL in Dec.

Maybe you should tell the REPS what you want and don't want, not the P2Ps. If you're that fired up about it talk to them personally. The Wilson polling can be valuable and is a way to get you desires across but you can cut out the middle man by speaking to the reps personally. It's the least you can do before your "support for ALPA [is] over".
