So if they start furloughing, do you think it will make it all the way to Scott Hall, being that his seniority is only at 1500 or so. If im on the street before him I'll go postal!!!!!!!!

Not to defend that guy but he is not a line pilot, he is management, so yes you will get furloughed before him, he was not hired as a line pilot.

Bring it on! See if we care anymore. I would rather not have a job than give in to the typical airline BS.

Boy, I wonder why Charlie deffered to Scott to put out this letter? Charlies letter "From you supervisor" always had such a heartfelt emotion to it that occasionally brought a tear to my eye. I guess Charlie didn't want all the glory for himself anymore. Oh by the way Scott, you can take that fleet plan and shove it up your A$$! In my opinion they can take every plane we have and give them to whom ever they please, under no circumstances will I sell out. I always tell my son to stand up for himself and stand up for the little guy, what kind of example would I set if I didn't stand up to the new school bully?

Some one answer this one for me.....If Skywest starts to remove airframes from ASA and put them at Skywest, isn´t that a change of status quo? Isn´t this a form of self help that neither side is allowed to perform? I know the excuses they could use as the reasoning, but if you really really look at it the airframes can still do the flying with ASA pilots out of SLC (even without a domicile!!)

I think he will have to give up his seniority number or go to the line as a pilot. There are good legal arguments that can be made on this.

Ask that to any Eagle pilot as they watched 10 E-145 leave to Trans States!! ALPA lost that one, and it was a shock to the Eagle pilots. It seemed cut and dry, that the company could not do that per there contract!!

Any SWAGs on how many 700 displacements we'll see on this bid? As a corollary, any guesses to how many 200 Captain displacements? Anybody crunch any numbers yet?

I think the ATR will stay out of the mix for a while, and there won't be any 200 FO displacements (where would they go)

Ok math guys and betters, let's hear your predictions

146 CA's if we don't lose anyone from today will be FO's.

I think that's high, at least from this first displacement. I'm guessing the first displacement will cover the initial 12 700s, which should translate to 66 downgrades.

I don't know, but was Eagle in contract negotiations at that time?

Since ASA will have fewer pilots, maybe now is the time the company can save some money by eliminating one or more chief pilots positions.

Told you this would happen, see what alpa has done for asa. I remember a year ago I said this would happen and all the Alpaites attacked me. I'm glad I made it to cal before alpa could really destroy ASA.

Believe me, we are glad you left too.

Superpooter, are you back aaaaaaagain! Well good for you, you're gone. Are you not content where you're at now? If you are, why are you posting on the regional boards, specially on ASA matters? Are you not an ALPA member at CAL? Things were rough there not that long ago, two bankruptcies. Geez, just go away pooper!

Kinda funny how so far the majority of things that management has said have come true and almost nothing ALPA has said is coming true. Time to give a little b/4 we start furloughing.

So what reason do we have not to burn it down?

For me, a good paycheck, health insurance, good schedule, and good travel benefits. What reason does ALPA have to burn it down? What exactly will that accomplish?

All provided by and enforced through your ALPA negotiated contract and elected leadership.

Just last week, an ALPA person told me that the transferring of aircraft was a bluff and they wouldn't really do it. And they want me to trust them?

As long as I still have a job. A great union contract isn't any good if your flying gets transferred. You mainline guys don't understand that yet do you?

Gee idiot. We are ALL ALPA people. I doubt that a P2P told you that, because we discussed just that during our last conference call, and all agreed that they probably would transfer aircraft, and would probably furlough. This is all part of the management playbook, too bad you're too dense to see that.

The story from ALPA always changes. At least management has a playbook. Sometimes I wonder if ALPA has a playbook.

So what, the hell with all the junior CA and FO's. I know it's not you so you don't care. Then piss on all the senior 70 CA's and IP's, that doesn't make it right. This place is no different then any other airline.
