I can't really speak to the whole Mormon thing. I honestly haven't had one discussion about religion yet with a SkyWest pilot. As far as racism, I made a commitment to myself years ago to call people on it whenever I encounter it. I spent years serving in the military with great men & women who also happened to be African Americans. There are some really big differences in culture at times but underneath it all we truly are the same.

Yup, I rant and rave, psycho, not really, once ALPA collectively wakes up and realizes that this really is big business and we get paid a lot of money for a job that really doesn't require a big brain or huevos. As a consequence you qualify nicely. Thank you for your service to this country, what was your MOS? I forget the number for the quartermaster corps or most likely 92S, but you were most likely a POGUE!, ya know the 90% that support the 10% on the front line. Kinda like what you do now. PBR

Why don't you tell us another tall tail, like how you're going to break $100k by the third year. Too bad I know one of your pilots that just left after 7 years and never made over $70k a yr. He left for a major, because guess what? Skywest isn't a career.

if your friend never made over 70K then he was either:

a-a Brasilia pilot
b-an RJ pilot who worked the absolute minimum, dropping trips and bidding the lowest credit he could
c-not telling you the whole truth
