I haven't heard anything about JB (or any new carrier) coming to town. JB has announced RICHMOND service starting March 31st...
Would be nice if either SWA, AirTran or JetBlue picked up ROA though... I hate having to drive to IAD or GSO or RDU for cheap airfares.

Roanoke Regional Airport has apparently landed a low-cost carrier. Next week, officials are expected to announce that a new airline, offering non-stop service to Florida, is coming to town.
An airport spokesman would not name the airline, but confirmed that a news conference is scheduled for Tuesday morning at 10:00. While the newcomer is not Southwest or Jetblue, a source with knowledge of the announcement described the carrier as "a terrific airline with great deals," that serves "a popular leisure destination" in Florida.
I'd guess Airtran......
