Flying seems less glamourous the longer you're in it. If you go through all your ratings quickly and consecutively, you'll be burnt out no doubt. Probably wonder many times during your training why youre bothering to do this. Things will get frsutrating and you'll want to quit. The only way to fail is to quit. If you kep trying, you'll succeed.

Prices forthe private vary from $5000 - $10000. Dont let anyone tell you youre being ripped off. It depends on may factors like how busy the airspace is and how frequently you fly.

You might want to go to ALLATPS. They have a good program thats reasonably rpiced and will get everything (all ratings) done quickly and all multi time.

Regionals used to be called commuters.

They fly the smaller RJ's or Regional Jets which feed the hubs of maineline carriers. Traditionally, regionals flew turboprop planes.
