We need to get in that CRJ and get a pay raise. Things can't keep going the way they are...ACA needs to focus on "I".
CHQ will most likely to get the new jets on bid w/ Delta. When you see those CHQ embrears in CVG it will be the beginning of the end.
If we keep the DoJet, that's 300 more pilots than before - that means 150 more captains - all of which make more than the CRJ pay freeze I'm getting now. Just as important as the pay and PIC time are the Delta PPR card benefits, without which it would be very difficult to get to work - Delta rules the South.
Regardless of what I wish for, follow the money and you will get the answer. I believe that Delta wants to maintain the portfolio concept and ACA is a strong, proven carrier. Some will argue that Independence is a competitor to Delta but in reality Independence is fighting USAir, United, JetBlue, and AirTran - all bigger enemies of Delta than ACA. (The concept of: "The enemy of my enemy is my friend...") Also, Delta doesn't want to incur any further losses when it doesn't have to. Therefore, I think you will see Delta, Dalpa, and ACA maintain the status quo in regards to the Dorniers.
