If any of you think it hasn't been settled for WEEKS, you're kidding yourselves.... (including the next entrant to the office. No matter who applies and interviews)

Hey OH PLEASE!!

Anyone from in the CP office is better than some turds from the past. A certain CP who got cussed out by a certain Captain in the old lounge comes to mind.

Nope, just a Georgia Boy in my 30's with the strong desire to stay out of the office as much as possible- there's something to be said for anonymity and lack of exposure. In short- fly low, and beat the radar................

I agree with that philosophy whole-heartedly. They say you've succeeded as a pilot if, when the CP here's your name, he says "who?" But there are certain situations that require you to carpet dance, and right now, one situation is fatigue calls or sick calls. Our current CPO group, after BS left, is filled with guys (with the exception of maybe 1 person) who think everyone who calls in fatigued is a giant pu##y and should "help the operation out." Likely this is because they came from the training department--one in particular never really flew the line to begin with--and as such are not even remotely tuned in to the reality of being on the line, let alone being a reserve pilot.

I didn't realize it was that well known.
