I guess there is a TA at Spirit...friends told me it will go out to the pilots for a vote soon.

I don't know anything about the new agreement, but it will be interesting to see what will happen in this new low cost environment we're in.

I wish

I wish it was for 54%. The true numbers are: 20 % the first year, 2%, 2%, then 10% the fourth year. As published, FO's will not even get quite that much (and 22 of them get no raise at all. They are still furloughed) We also gave up about 2% in scheduling, so, I see the TA as a net gain of about 22% after figuring in normal inflation over the 4 years. We also gave up a pay raise for any new aircraft type unless it is larger than 180 seats. As I posted on the general bbs, management got all they wanted and we settled for about one third of what we wanted.

Spirit Airlines MEC, leading the way to the bottom.

Looks like the vote is gonna go through from all the people that I have talked too the vote is going through. I'm sure there are a few people who still want more money but just like always how does it feel to want. Truthfully we should be happy to be flying and getting raises not being furloughed and giving concessions.

If the TA goes thru (most likely will) lets hope that the furloughed guys are all the sudden "needed" again. I bet they will be.

Not with all the "MARYS" they got working here. These guys/gals are weak. Some are picking up so much OT they will time out. The MEC has been a non-factor. They coudln't lead a group of people to the water if they were on the beach at high tide!!! Too bad they don't have any balls like they folks at ATA and AWA.
BTW, the TA sucks!!!

Easy there big guy. The problem at other airlines is not of our concern. Remember to pick your battles. The problems at ATA called for their own fix. Spirit is operating profitably and the pilots can help to keep that going ... Let me guesse you want to strike.?

Unbelievable!!!! How can anyone pick up overtime when there are people on the street. That really stinks...

Bottomfeeder,

Right on brother! Get those 22 back! How much does 22 pilots save anyway? Is that a big % of pilots there? How many you guys got, now?
