One thing that he did much better than Randy was on the operational side. Our performance numbers and MEL items are much better. Opening the new MX bases and MX line check areas created more "touches" by MX, resulting in many less APU and other deferrals.

While I thought the whole pay cut thing was a load of crap, I though he was a much better leader than Randy. Maybe Delta sacked him because he wasn't ruthless enough??
