Looks like BD is going back to the line. He served our pilot group well. If you ever had dealings with him you should stop by and thank him for his service.

But now that begs the question....who will take his place as the new base chief?

And who will be the next assistant chief come June?

My guesses are Brad S. and the Palm....discuss.

I vote for B. Jackson. He would be the most entertaining of them all. I'd love to hear him call up scheduling and chew em' a new one.

The Palm has my vote.

Served who well? Really? I had ten times more luck with Bruce than I ever did with him.

BD is a great guy, and needs to get away from the stress of that office.
Probably told of SH one too many times.

The position notice is for Assistant Chief, not Base Chief. Yeah, BS is the most senior pilot and has been in the office longest. At least it's not one of the other two...

Is there any doubt! B.S will be base chief pilot. The question is , who will replace him at assitant chief pilot?

Some little toadie who has been here 3 yrs. We will probably have another C.P. that who thinks is an intern.

SH really should go somewhere else-that guy has completely wreck the CPO and most of flt ops. The way SH sees things, Captains no longer have any authority to refuse to do anything unsafe and the CP's job is to force them to do stupid stuff.

-Just look at how many people have to fight the whole deferred APU fight every summer when the temp is 95 degrees! What a jackass!!

SH is one turd that just will not flush!

Well they keep lowering the Asst CP pay to a point where guys flying a good line with a lot of time actually make a lot more with non of the BS or stress.

What fight are you talking about? You just don't do it.

But BD is the base chief so that position will need to be filled....duh.
