Another point!

If you are well read and I know you are...you can deliver packages for UPS!! When they are overextended or loaded all you have to do is look it up on the web...and if you deliver it you get like 50% of the delivery charge...if you were so interested and well read you wouldn't have stated

"I never said I was expert in this feild, and am trying to learn as much as possible."

"but I would not be against shipping some of UPS's things if they ran out of room on a certian flight or something, as long as it was worth my time."

Well if they (UPS) pays you for delivering their stuff then I am going to say it is definitely worth your time...and secondly here is to you learning as much as possible!!!

HEY FLYBROWNTAILS....you just might be on to something!!!

How many licks does it take to bite into the center of a tootsie roll lolly pop?

That all depends!

Whats her name...and maybe I can tell you!

waspe, can I pay you a compliment? Get your college degrees out of the way and work your way towards Memphis or "Lou-a-ville". I'm sure you can find a very rewarding slot with either one of those companies, or even ABX and all three of those companies appreciate people that can help them become more competitive.

Your drive and desire will go a long way towards your pursuit in a career involving the freight industry. Keep up the hard work!

As far as starting something new...as a proud feeder foot soldier, I can only repeat...
All your boxes are belong to us
Good luck dude!:)

YESSSSSSSSSSSSS!

April...I believe that was 335 licks...kinda lost count. But I know she liked Bar-B-Que!!!

Like I said, I know, I am not that good at writing in english when I don't actually check my writing over again.

However, I am a pretty good talker.

I actually might have found a nitch, but it involves me not starting a Air freight industry right away, and starting another type of business to go along with the Air freight business, but rent hangers, and other supplies to small Air Freight companies. Then I use that small Air Freight company, they take care of all the hard work with the Agents and the Forwarders, and I ship all my stuff with them. Then, once we get close, I try to get at least a partnership with that company, after telling them my nitch.

The nitch is so obvious, but nobody can do it as of yet, because they haven't got the right combination of businesses. However, it will probably work, and when Fed ex or UPS try to compete, they will have start over again basicly, because this is kindof hard to just start on a mature air freight company.

I have actually started to do the leg work, and making contacts.

Just wondering, is it possible to hitch rides on pure cargo planes? Like for really cheap or free, because they are already making money with the cargo and everything?

waspe, you could always buy some old dc-3's and run drugs into the country. a dc-3 full of coke would be a profitable cargo op. good luck! if you ever make a business plan, please pm it to me.

thanks!

Actually, I had already figured out a huge drug smuggling operation, and how exactly it would work. It was extremely easy to figure out though, and I found away where it is practically impossible to get caught, and if I did, It would actually cost the government more money to try and kill me, then I am smuggling into the United States.

I am not sure exactly what DC's look like, but I doubt they would be suitable for the operation, since most planes open from the front, you would need ones that open from the back. So like an old russian military plane would work.

My problem is I doubt any pilot has the balls do to smuggle it in, for me. It would be very rigous training, and they way I do things, your life would be in danger 24/7, if the bad guys have fighter planes.

I actually figured out the front and everything, the IRS has nothing on it.

However, thats not my plan I just thought up. This one is actually totally legit. Took about 1 week longer to figure out but it would work.

Thank you guys for everything. You guys really did help me see the problems and stuff I would need to face.

Don't encourage him.
This is getting old and irritating.
Ignore him and maybe he'll go away - panhandlers in NYC usually do.

I still think an old DC-3 would be better for bandit ops. Direct-drive turbine engines are too loud!! Plus, flying an old DC-3 would be very nastalgic!

Waspe, I do wanna see your business plan when it is finished. And don't worry, your PM to me seemed a little paranoid. I am not going to take your plan and run. I might be an investor and you will need quite a few to come up with your 400 million.

P.S. - take a few english classes before you put your master plan to work.

Hey Waspe I just got my commercial multi....

can I be your Chief Pilot???

Pm me I will forward my resusme.

Is this really happening??????!?

Sorry for all the negative responses waspe. I am a genuine Aviation Consultant (it even says so right on my business card). I will be happy to help.

Smuggling drugs is illegal. That will be $1000.00. For an additional $500.00 I will cite the specific FAR's and Federal
Drug Legistlation under which you will be charged.

Once the first check gets here for the services I have already provided I will PM you with the exact fail proof business plan to make money in the exciting and glossy world of air freight. Trust me, I worked directly under a middle manager of a 135 freight operation with two Metros, and know all there is to know.
