So with IOE backed up for weeks the rumor is that when you complete IOE that they back date your pay to the day you passed your type ride.
Has this been happening? The contract doesn't seem to say that happens.

Thanks

It does.

The line item when the time comes will be "retro".

Your Capt pay will begin the first day of IOE. No back pay to type ride and nothing in contract that addresses this exactly.

If I remember correctly, I think its not until you are signed off from IOE. There is no retro. WHat a POS company. Do your time and get out as soon as you can.

Directly from the contract.....

http://asacontract.com/pa/contract/chpt24.htm

24.I.2 states, "A pilot who is awarded or assigned a permanent position with a higher rate of pay will be paid the higher rate of pay for SOE/IOE hours in the position with the higher rate of pay and for all duties performed in the position with the higher rate of pay."

Should be retro'ed back to the first day of OE. The key word is "should".

:puke: (payroll)

When I upgraded I recieved back pay once I completed IOE.

Do you have to claim it to get it, if so how, or is it automatic?
