Heard one guy from my interview group was awarded the X, but I wasn't and I was first called. I have a feeling those offerings are very fluid when they call.
jrav8tor said:Hey guys,
Hope this helps. Interviewed on 6/7 and 6/8, called 6/9 and offered the job! I am super excited about joining NJA! The tour and interview was beyond my expectations and they were set high! Derinda and the whole gang are absolutely awesome! They made you feel it was their honor to be interviewing you. Just a great experience! I would have felt the same if I weren't hired.
Submitted Resume early Feb., App received 1 week later, App submitted 2 days later. Email app received next day. 3/3 email saying app is accepted wait for interview dates. Early May received email with interview dates in June for July class dates.
At interview Derinda informed us they were interviewing for July 10, 17, 31 class dates. A/C offered were: X, XL on 10th; XL 17th; XL, X, 800, G200 on 31st. I was offered all class dates and accepted the XL on 10th. Offered XL on 10th; XL on 17th; Ultra, Beechjet, XL, 800 on 31st.
So just as they tell you in the interview, NJA is a dynamic and fluid place. One must be willing to be flexible and adapt to change quickly. The aircraft offered were a little different from the day of the interview.
The interview atmosphere was relaxed and the best interview experience you will go through. Enjoy the tour and take the time to talk to as many people there about NJA. They were all excited about us being there! This place is a class act! Glad to be joining a great team!
Oh yeah: Wear shirt, tie, and jacket to first day. Dress for success. Everyone in my group wore a tie, and most everyone a jacket.
Best of Luck with the interview and hope to see ya on the line!
I get lots of day one, before-8am OT, sometimes while I'm asleep at home. And it often runs over into 12+ hours. Day one is usually a money-maker for me.Just Peachy said:NOt much scheduled overtime but plenty of "hourly overtime" in other words, scheduling screws up, or you just plain run over the 12 hours of our normal work day.
That would be 3 extended days/quarter, and that only applies to the 7-7 schedule. We are limited to 3 days of voluntary overtime per quarter.

I really wanted it but can't do anything until the end of August. I could not get anything I wanted on 8/28 so I took a 800XP/LAX on 9/18. Good luck to everyone and see you out there.
E170Driver said:Thanks. Don't know, did not know they were different! Just offered the 800XP. Guess it really doesn't matter.
