Might want to resharpen that pencil... or at least do some research using the search button.

NJI doesn't have an 18 day schedule. That comes from NJA.

An NJA FO makes more that an NJI fo even if that FO is at NJI..... even if they don't have a type and the comparable NJI FO does.

I don't need to see your paystub to point out your research is wrong.

You probably want to see my paystub though.

OK...Let me ask you this: Where would you go to find out how pilots are compensated at a particular company?

I probably know the answer...airlinepilotcentral.com, right?

Well, that's where I'm getting my information. If you go there you'll see pay scales for 18 Day Fixed, Large Cabin FO. Under the definition of Large cabin is: Falcon 2000EX, GIV, GV. I was under the impression that these were NJI aircraft. My research may be wrong, but that's what this forum is for...is it not?

I started this thread to find out who was in charge of recruiting at NJI, and no one has answered my question. I did get some valuable information, but some chose to digress to name calling. Anonymity can easily highlight the true character of an individual. Unfortunately it seems NetJets let some people fall through the cracks during the hiring process.;)

If you what to question my motives, research, or character, or maybe, just maybe, answer my original question, you call or email me. I'm finished babysitting this tread.

Best Regards!

nobody answered because there is no answer. Recruiting at NJI has come to a halt. There is enough in the pool to fill the remaining classes before all fo's come from nja in november.

Gutshot answered your question in post number 2 of this thread. I'll repost so you don't have to scroll back.

Sorry to bust your bubble amigo: Off-the-street hiring is pretty much done. There is a pool of a few guys already offered positions and reportedly only one more interview group. After November of next year, all NJI positions will be filled by NJA pilots that meet the two year and 5000 hour minimums, bid the position and receive the bid award. If you don't have an inside recommendation for the last interview group, the only way to get to a Gulfstream at NJI now is to apply to NJA and wait your turn. :( Best of luck to you.

Hi!

NJA has BOTH of the Falcon 2000s (the older one, either called the DX or the "Classic" I belive, is in the under 40K category-the newer one is the EX or Easy or FX depending on ? and is in the over 40K category), and the BBJs (737 business jets-only 2.5 of them).

NJI has ALL the big Gulfstreams (the "fake" Gulfstream, the 200 is actually an Israeli Aircraft Industry airplane, and is flown by NJA), including the IV, V, 450 and 550.

They are separate companies, but both owned by Bershire Hathaway (as is EJM, Flight Safety, etc.).

It sounds like, from all the posts I've read, that NJI and NJA will end up being combined, but I'm very, very confused about how/why/when this may occur.

It IS a fact that all of the FO positions for NJI will soon come from NJA. BUT, from what I've read, NJI can still hire street captains from outside NJA. Weird.

I would appreciate if someone could expain the intracacies of the NJA/NJI potential combination.

Thanx!

PS-AvroJockey: I would reccomend applying to both NJI and NJA. Our friends lived in Ireland for a while and didn't like it at all. They were health/workout fanatics and didn't find that too much in Ireland.

until you are hired and have access to the union board, read from here and learn.

would not try and teach, i'd keep my mouth shut.

Avro,

Try going to the union website. www.ibt1108.com. You should be able to get an e-copy of the contract that has FO payscales. All NJI new hires are going to be from the 1108 seniority list, so getting hried is going to have to be through NJA. The contact email address is [email protected] and can be found on www.netjets.com.

I heard the recruiters have recieved the expected bombardment of resumes since Dec 7. Good luck.
