Its a good thing then you got all that Panel time when Astar goes away or just merges with another company. Lets see you made 100k and worked 14 days a month.... but now you're behind the power curve because you couldn't figure out career advancement.
I find it hard to believe that all astar panel guys at 6 years were just waiting for that fo job around the corner. No sir I believe you choose QOL and now that choice of staying on the panel has bitten you or will bite you in the arse.
I am currently a Second Officer (FLight Engineer) on B727 at Astar Air Cargo. I have not touched flight controls in 6 years. I do not see current flight time as a "pilot" on the min requirements, but does anyone know if that is going to exclude me from getting an interview / hired? I need to know so I can go to plan B, C, or whatever plan I am going to go with.
No, just a sh!tty job. But he does get to tell the bartender that he "flies" a 727.
Why exactly would you call 100k a year and 14 off a month a bad gig??? I would love to know this.
So, I'll assume by your frame of mind that YOU would be that much of "TOOLBAG" that YOU ACTUALLY WOULD tell anyone "wow look at me I'm a pilot and I fly an airbus 320". To each his own I guess.

The answer to your question: It doesn't look good.
A pilot recently applied with a few thousand hours heavy jet PIC time, ex-Air Force, but had not flown in over a year due to a desk job. He also had an LOR from a Netjets pilot. He received an email stating, please reapply when you are current. He didn't even receive the application.
6 years on the panel is the equivalent to 6 years at a desk.
Just the facts.
Apply anyway...Good luck.
