In the employment offer, there is a stated cost of reimbursement if one leaves within 2 years of starting at NJA. I don't have the letter in front of me, but I believe one would pay the full amount up to year one and then it's pro-rated over the second year. The repayment basically covers the type rating and therefore is dependent on the fleet one is assigned to. Working again from memory, the lowest-cost fleet was the Ultra, which ran around $16K, while the priciest was the Falcon or the X at around $24-25K.
