OK, so these questions are a little lame, but I didn't grow up as part of the Nintendo generation...

1. If I want to post on more than one board (ie regionals/majors/fractionals) how do I post it on all forums without having to re-type it ??

2. This is one is really embarrassing: How do I include a "link" so others can just press it and go to the website ??

Like I said these are really stupid questions but would like some help.

Fire away but keep it funny.

Um, you can't. Y'know why? Why don't you ponder that question for a while?

1. Can't post to more than one board at a time.

2. If you type the link in, including the http, the program should figure out it is a link and make it set it up automatically. I could be wrong.

You next challenge will be to figure out why some guys have to post a sarcastic, unfriendly reply instead of just helping out the new guy.

You can type your post in word and save it, then just cut and paste from word into the forums (one at a time) that you want to put them in. On my computer I usually have to have both programs running at the same time in order to copy out of word and paste it over in mozilla.

I have only done one or two posts in word that I saved because sometimes I repost the info, but it has worked the couple of times I've done it.

I usually just type in the quick reply mode and sometimes FI times me out while I am typing up a post (which aren't that long!) and it doesn't recognize me as logged in when I hit the reply button. That blows. Anybody have any ideas on that?

Oh well, hope the info helps

FJ

thanks

Cut and Paste...?! Brilliant !

Thanks for the info.

Because the new guy wants to cross-post the same message to different message boards? Why is showing him how to do that a good idea?

You're right. He shouldn't really post the same thing all across this board. I guess I'm addressing the general crowd that seems to look for reasons to squash folks. So could probably say I'm a member of that crowd too.

What was the question again?
