I'm not sure that JN thought they were necessary.fracslave said:I hope a CEO is found that communicates with the pilots and does not think the pilots are a necessary evil like JN did.

Not saying I disagree with you at all. I actually do. I am wondering how you know all this stuff without being here during his regime?batsky2000 said:Nahill was a frekin MORON, when he took control, everything went down hill, our moral, Hotels got worse, still crappy support from management, Etc.............
The list still grows, he was there long enough to piss all of the pilots off then leave, what a wuss and an idiot, to late for me I left a year before him to something way better, and having fun at my new digs to
see ya
He said that he left a year before Nahill. Nahill was at the helm almost 2 years.Dep676 said:Not saying I disagree with you at all. I actually do. I am wondering how you know all this stuff without being here during his regime?
A few others need to go also.289edwhite said:Now all they have to do is get rid of Tim Montie and it would be a good company again.
Yeah I guess I read it wrong. I thought you meant you left a year before Nahill came to the company. Also after reading what I posted. It didn't come out right. I totally agree with you on everything. Nahill did screw a lot of things up. Just about everything he did was a mess. I had guys telling me because he has a master degree. He must know what he is doing. I just hope the next guy has some common sense and can get that "slide to poverty" payscale fixed.batsky2000 said:I guess everyone can read except DEP, I was original Travel Air, and left last year, I guess that should clear things up, and even if you don't agree with me DEP, the majority would, he made Options into a place that is as good as a reginal airline, nothing more, I was not the only one who left or who are leaving, crappy hotels from good ones, less crew meals, crapy pay scale, still, poor maint., still poor support from management, the list keeps growing from what I hear from friends still there.
I hope he has some knowledge of airplanes, knowledge of crew life, knowledge of hotel life, knowledge of pay, knowledge of cost of living, knowledge of maintenance.......ah, I think you get the picture.Dep676 said:I just hope the next guy has some common sense and can get that "slide to poverty" payscale fixed.
Isn't UsAirways in Chapter 11????????????????????Heavy Set said:Sounds like the interim CEO (Scheringa) has some pretty good aviation experience with something like 10-12 years at USAirways (during most of their good years). My understanding from reading about him is that he spent a lot of time in different departments and has a good understanding of operations, labor relations, marketing, customer service, etc.
Yeah, but people will say his experience running Metro Jet was not a good one - but at least he gained valuable perspective and has hopefully learned from his mistakes... What do you think about him?
