Wow, this post came out of nowhere. You're all bitching because no new flying........DURRING THE HISTORICALLY SLOWEST PART OF THE YEAR? The fall season is always crappy. We were just busier last year than this because of the "beat down" and reaming we took from mgt- remember the double time???? DCI isn't a priority to Delta right now.....it's the NWA/DL merger that's the priority. We've still got another year to become "Average", and another couple of years to become "Second Lowest". Quit worrying, bitching, or preaching doom and gloom, and let what happens, happens. If you look to much into this stuff, you'll take a bath with a toaster oven..................

Why not just do your job, save money, and let management do theirs- they've already demonstrated they are somewhat competant.

One thing is for sure, be it a good one, or a bad one- Management knows more about what is going on/what to do than any of us here.

Hallejuh, the voice of reason! Well said.

It would be much more cost effective to furlough Management than it would be to furlough any Professional Pilot! We could get rid of all the real dead weight and the airplanes could still be flown!

Would you buy a ticket on that airline? Heck, Yeah!

Say it ain't so! There is a freight train coming down the tracks!

CT just came out with a memo laying off a few people in the OCC and recruiting.
