2.8 mill?

That's kinda what I was thinking. One's dollar doesn't stretch very far in MN, I guess. Yet another reason to avoid living where it is winter 8 months a year.

So...... how does one get a job in management???

why would you post my pad on the internet? why would you think that is a ceos house?

Grunt,

How was the AK-74 compared to the 47? I really like the SKS/AK but I have always wondered how the smaller round would affect the weapon.

BTW, the CAR-15 has got to be the best thing since sliced bread. WOW! what a wonderful wepaon!

It's the same animal, just a different round. I like it better, it's more accurate (if you can even use that word associated with an AK) and the round has some wicked characterisitcs after it hits human tissue. If I remember correctly, the bullet can do almost a 90 degree change in direction after impacting the human body. The Afgan's gave it a spooky name during the Russian-Afghanistan War, but I can remember it.

As for the CAR15/M4 type weapons, they're great for urban warfare, but it would not be my choice for an engagement more than 100yds. Most people know that the 5.56 round has a bad rap for killing power, but that is beyond to 200 yard range (for the M16A2). After 200 yards, the 5.56 loses a lot of its energy and loses its ability to fragment after it hits tissue, making it much less effective. When you switch up to a 16" barrel, you lose about 500fps velocity, and reduce the fragmentation range to around 150 yards, thus making the weapon less lethal. But it DEFINATELY earns its keep in close quarters engagements.

In the Twin Cities you may be right...but not in MN. Even in the TC the cost of living is less or similar to what I have seen in similar sized areas of the country.

You too can live like a king for doing nothing.

Foley must be crapping his pants because the creditor's committee is going to tear him to shreds. We will still get screwed but hopefully we can take him down with us.

Why anyone would pay $200,000 let alone $2.8 mil for that house is beyond me. It is uckin fugly as he11

No kidding. The annual property taxes alone ($24,430.68) on that house are more than the annual first year FO pay at most regionals.

There's a great way to spin it. I'd love to see some poor FO with a picket sign saying "Foley's property taxes are more than my SALARY"

Paul needs a new big screen. That one is ancient.

Why are you guys begrudging the man on his home. In observing this board, 90% of you claim you are republicans. The first mantra of the GOP is I got mine you get yours. You all need to work harder and the same thing will happen to you. (Sarcasm intended)

He is having to sell his house because all of you pilots are overpaid. He will now have to settle for a 7000 square footer worth only $1.9 mill instead. You all should be ashamed of yourselves.
