This is for those who fly for a carrier that flies for multiple mainlines.

When you bid flying, are you always flying for the same mainline or can it change for each four day trip. What about sitting reserve.

S**t, I mean regionals

Base determines your 'mainline' unless you are moved to cover open time. But that doesn't happen often, unless you ask for the time. That's Colgan anyway...

SkyWest has you flying both United and Delta flights... sometimes different company on the same day. My experience is usually that you stick with one. Reserve... anything goes.

does that mean you get the flight benefits of both mainline carriers?
And are they any better than NWA's (like they could be much worse)

Same at Mesa.

For Colgan - IAH base gets CAL benefits, North East gets US benefits. Some of the northeast bases are both US and United and crews can interchange day to day.
