It's truly sobering to hear of yet another tragic ending. It's fun, it's exhilarating, it's rewarding, it's challenging... and it's deadly.

Our hearts go out to those who have lost loved ones.

Don't take tomorrow for granted.

Don't assume you can see your kids next week.

Never forget the goodbye kiss you give might be the last.

And never let anybody tell you you're not worth it.

Fitting that "Time in a Bottle" is now playing on the radio.

.

I truly have to say my heart goes out to their families.

But I also have to say this: Why does the media have to jump all over these kind of tragedies? There were probably 3x the people who lost their lives on the highways in that city today.....

Im just curious as to why the FAA isnt doing anything about the MU-2 crashes, thats 3 fatal this year
I'm curious as to why your singling out the MU-2's as opposed to any other type of aircraft?

Agree, the media is just making a big deal out of it, nothing new here.

Obviously you don't know much about MU2's. It is probably one of, if not the most deadly General Aviation aircraft out there. Go to the NTSB website and do a search on MU2 crashes. You'll be amazed at what comes up. I admire the guys that fly these things though...its not some flying electronic toy....its an airplane that requires a real pilot behind the controls.

Not saying its a deathtrap, just a bit more challenging than most. But a well trained pilot allways seems to be the ticket to operating the thing.

But I do believe that more than half of all MU-2's built have crashed.
