MSP Crashpad next to Mall of America available for commuters:

-Very clean and well furnished place to crash. ( I stop in every 2 weeks to clean and make sure everything is well stocked)

-There is a very nice, new, and clean light rail train that will take you to the airport. The train runs every 10 minutes, it takes only 15 minutes to go from the airport to the crashpad (10 minute train ride followed by a 5 minute walk). Also, a cab will only cost you 8 dollars if the WX sucks and you would rather not wak in the elements.

-Starting in July sometime, the crashpad will also have a car. The car will be for attending ground school, going to downtown Minneapolis to see the the night life, the Twins, Vikings, Timberwolves, or the Wild play, or just going to up to the store to buy some groceries.

-27" TV, 120 channels of cable, DVD, VCR, XBOX, high speed WiFi, full kitchen, walk-in closets and storage bins to hang and store your possesions.
-$130 for a hot bunk set up, or $180 if you would prefer to have your own bed.

-Hope to hear from you, please call Tom Bennett at (612) 387-8301, or email me at [email protected]

I had a friend who stayed there and have nothing but NICE things to say about this facility. He really enjoyed being next to MOA and the train ride to the airport, he couldn't stop talking about.

This facility is convenient, and very clean. I'm told everyone was very accomodating and respectful to other pilots' privacy and rest.

Thanks for posting. I have forwarded this to someone who may be looking for a crashpad.

Nice touch with the car offer.
