The best part of the Discount Airline Pilot story was reported in another article....apparently, after writing the letter to Anheuser-Busch, Joe Leonard of Air Tran tried calling them and was put on hold....only to have to listen to the add on their phone system.

I think it is all 'tongue in cheek' humor..I know that it may be in bad taste to say that the 'discount airlines' don't give a whip about safety, but I know that they do..I have played this ad to a few none aviation people and they find it funny, even as they get ready to fly on either AirTran or Southwest..Its just like the other 'genius' ads Budweiser produces, the 'sweat mopper upper guy', etc...I can see how some of the execs can be upset over the ad, but to really do more than a simple letter of protest just labels them as 'being truly anal' about it..Just my opinion.
