Yikes! Yes, that answers the question! So I take it that the "traditional" path of ATR F/O - Van PIC - ATR PIC is no longer followed? They're upgrading ATR F/Os to the left seat? Or are they hiring street ATR Captains?

The ATR FO to VAN to PIC ATR still applies. You can just directly
to the VAN now. It's really the best way to go.
Van first, ATR F/O for a bit (with Van pay), THEN go Capt.

Sweet! So how about that flowthrough to mainline? I kid, I kid.

Any idea what van bases are available at the moment? What's the floater schedule like on the 135 side (if it exists at all).

Thanks again.

Flow through......BWAHAHAHAHAHA.....sigh
If only...

Bases open and close all the time. It's really random
Floater schedules are SUPPOSED to have every 5th week off.
Realistically, it also varies.

good luck

I think that IND and GSO are open for floaters. I was a floater, If you dont like being gone it can be a blast. its always nice to get away for a few weeks. Like to FLL, EWR, SBN, CLE, GSO. These are just some places that the IND floater might go to. The extra money is nice to. your not going to get rich, but you might have a good time.
