More Winglets For CAL

The offical announcement has not been relasesed yet but both the EWR CPO and the training department both confirm that the 737-500's and some of the 737-300's will be getting blended winglets.

I guess they could put a mod in them to make them like the -500. I know we used to have some -300 EFIS birds but got rid of them because of poor lease rates. The fact that the -300 round dial sim is down for the count could mean the mod is imminent.

I heard it was something to do with RH(horizontal)SM with, 1000' feet horizontally? Don't know much more, it was said in passing. The updates into EFIS would allow the 300 to accomplish this???
