We're looking at an F-90 this week that has 3300 hrs on the engines, as I understand it the TBO is 3600 hrs. The dealer is talking about getting the airplane onto the MORE program which extends the TBO to 8000hrs, I haven't heard of that before, anybody know anything about it, sounds too good to be true.

I flew an E model that was on the MORE program. I'm not a fan of it. Owner didn't want to buck up for overhauls.

It's MUCH cheaper to put it on the MORE...as you maybe only have to do HOTS and maybe some accessories...it's been a while...so I can't remember all the details...

But it wasn't long after I started flying it that I wrote up both engines as not making rated torque on take off.

After maint. dicked with it for 2 days...motors were yanked for OH :)
