Still think it is a bad design when you factor in how far the thing was designed to fly. If it holds the gas, some CEO is going to put it on long legs. They should have gone the EMB 170 style design from the get go.

Maybe I was on an especially noisy 145, but the wind noise in the back was at least equal to the propeller noise on a Dash. Less vibration though (obviously) Probably the best compromise I have seen was the Do-328, the six bladed props were pretty smooth and turned slow enough to be much quieter than the Dash, but still had a fairly large cabin, not that I would really enjoy a 2.5 hour leg in it either, but I would take it over the 145 anyday.

nice! to bad they arnt the q-400s that were promised to Comiar...
