I haven't seen him in awhile. Great guy though, flew with him on the ATR years ago.

So he's still flying the ATR? He was senior enough for the 700, but knowing him he's quite happy with the ATR and his lines on it.. He was a real class act, and the one of the funniest guys to work with at ASA. It was a privilege to upgrade on the ATR with him (we were sim partners).

He's still here, funny as ever, and still bagging more than the legal limits on wild game! Dave is in the ATRah training department now.

that's a scary thought! ;)

Tell him is former Sim partner in the ATR initial upgrade is saying hi.

Someone please tell me how more negotiations sessions are a good thing? If there are stiff or strong stipulations from the mediator that if the company doesn't move a fixed amount we are released then I understand the rationale. If we are back to the table for the same old song and dance from BOTH sides, I think it sucks! I want some movement.....

Time allows people to review there position. Other outside factors also come into play.

I'm actually an ALPA volunteer, I have picketed, I read everything ALPA sends me, and I talk to my reps. on a regular basis. I don't agree with everything management does, and I don't agree with everything ALPA does. A lot of people are quick to complain and blame the Skywest pilots, when there are plenty of ALPA pilots that are in the same race to the bottom. I participate in the process, but don't tell me that ALPA is the great solution and will solve the problem.

So you're a hypocrite? You hate ALPA and think it's a waste of 2%, but then you go give up your free time and volunteer? I think you're just an instigator.

That was my understanding. The mediator is saying get it done or be released. Both sides need to get it done.

Many of us believe ALPA is not the best option for us or any regional pilot group. However, it is the system we have at this point in time. Given that fact, we must work within that system....for now.

You and others say "get involved, its YOUR union" and when we do, you call us hypocrits. The truth is you are the one being hypocritical. You want us to "get involved" but only if we agree with your view.....sorry, it doesn't work that way.

Back over here on Flight Info are you. You didn't get any response to your Billy BadA$$ message (I'm OhPlease and I'm not afraid of $hit) posted on the ASA MEC website did you? What a retard you are. It's like putting a "Please Kick ME" sign on your own back and nobody likes you enough to even comment.:laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh:

I don't "hate" ALPA. I think it is ineffective and I think we are asking for too much. I also think ALPA does a lot of good work.

Fine that YOU think that Irish. But majority rules and polling indicates the majority want improvements and pay to keep up with inflation and increased health costs.

Yes BBA (Billy Bad A$$) I am back to keep you and Joey honest. You bash our volunteers and I will make sure you get your share of the BS. It is tiring work but somebody has to do it! If it wasn't me then some poor new hire would have to do it. Maybe we can get the Dog Whisperer to come here for a few days and get the demons out of your K9 mind. If not it will continue to be SH saying Sit, Roll Over, Lie like a dog, speak (barking acceptable), lie in the street and lick your ba!!s, fetch your latest post for Scottie. Yep you are Billy Bad A$$ management lap dog.

I don't "bash" the volunteers. I disagree with them on SOME issues.

You and a few others are why I feel a need to become more involved and replace SOME of the people running around the 112 offices. You should continue to hide behind FI because many of your opinions combined with your childish personal attacks on ANYONE with a difference of opinion make the MEC look horrible by association with you.

Its a shame that Dave and Tom and Danny and Nick and others have allowed people like yourself to glomb onto them and 112. While I feel like those guys have done a great job at what they have been doing for the ASA pilots, their association with you and a FEW others has galvanized my resolve to see them replaced.

As far as my post on the alpa board: it has nothing to do with being "billy bad a$$" as you've so eloquently put it. It was simply an answer to a question (who is OhPlease!) and a statement about my being afraid to identify myself. If I'm off, I'll see you at the next 112 function. Feel free to come say hi or just introduce yourself in the hallway in ops.

Well, isn't just alot easier to hide behind your computer and throw insults like you've been doing for so long sport??

Well, it seem as though I have struck a nerve in Billy Bad A$$. He calls our CNC and MEC liars and then trys to weasel his way out of his statements. I am not on the MEC but I do know an MEC/CNC basher when I see one post. You are one of those bashers! I will always defend our volunteers against unwarranted attacks from snot nosed punks like yourself. If you don't like being given a dose of your own medicine clean up you act, Junior.:smash:

I sure hope that is what the mediator said. Release us and we'll head into super-mediation with a 30-day window. Then, if nothing happens, we can take a break from this crazy place. I don't believe we will ever strike; they will come to a compromise during the 30-day cooling off period. The company just needs a deadline held over their heads. If it gets BL fired in this process, then that is just icing on the cake.

This is by far the most ridiculous statement you've ever uttered. Prey tell, why does one man who has told you he isn't even associated with the MEC (I think he's retired, actually) speaking his OPINION merit voting the current MEC out? How can you justify guilt by association when you don't even know the target's name? Tell us what they should have done? Call him and shut him up? Oops. don't know his name.

You sir, are a complete buffoon if you expect us to go along with your "logic"! And now that we all know who you are, you look like an even bigger idiot. Keep it up.

I can't believe I'm sayin this.......I completely agree with you. OhPlease has to be the world's biggest tool!

Retired? No but there is light at the end of the tunnel and I should be gone before ASA craps. That is if ASA gets new management to keep the airline from AUTO SHUT DOWN. Maybe I'll get a Hurdy-Gurdy and pay OhPlease to wear a little hat and costume and go around with a tin cup and beg for donations. He should be good because he is not afraid of $hit! He has already said he will work for peanuts, Hmmm?

Looking at the responses to this management wanna be, I'd say that NOBODY likes his dumb ass!

His new nickname is Billy Bad A$$. He posted on the ASA ALPA MEC message board the following: "I'm OhPlease and I am not afraid of $HIT!". No one posted back to his false bravado. He is PMing some of our pilots and asking them to meet him for a drink at the 3 Dollar Cafe. He says he doesn't have enough time to volunteer for ALPA work because he needs to spend the time with his family. Interestingly he has time to solicit fellow pilots to be his drinking buddies and spends hours a day on this forum bashing our CNC and MEC. He is a tool and a fool!! Airline flying is a small fraternity and he had better hope that ASA survives his career.
